About the Scholarship Foundation
 

Since 1997, the TPGA Scholarship Foundation has dedicated itself to assisting children and grandchildren of the Texas Propane Gas Association member companies reach their goals of higher education. The Foundation has distributed over $165,000 worth of scholarships over the last 25 years. The Scholarship Foundation provides funding for exceptional students who will be pursuing a degree from a two-year college, four-year university, or who will be enrolled in technical school.

2022-2023 TPGA Scholarship
Application Round Is Open

If you are employed by a Texas Propane Gas Association Member Company your Texas children & Texas grandchildren may be eligible to apply.
 

All scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:​

  • A Texas high school senior or an undergraduate student that completed high school in Texas.

  • Plans to be a full-time student for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year in an undergraduate degree program by an accredited college or university or enrolled in a vocational or technical school.

  • A child or grandchild of a Texas employee of a current member of the Texas Propane Gas Association (TPGA) with dues paid for the 2022 TPGA membership year.  

  • The parent’s, legal guardian’s, or grandparent’s work must be directly related to the propane industry.

  • GPA (needs to be in the upper half of class for consideration)

 

How to Apply for a Scholarship?
The online application opened on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, and closes on Monday, May 16, 2022
