About the Scholarship Foundation
Since 1997, the TPGA Scholarship Foundation has dedicated itself to assisting children and grandchildren of the Texas Propane Gas Association member companies reach their goals of higher education. The Foundation has distributed $100,000 worth of scholarships over the last 20 years. The Scholarship Foundation provides funding for exceptional students who will be pursuing a degree from a two-year college, four-year university, or who will be enrolled in technical school.
About the Scholarships
The college scholarship application for the 2020/2021 academic year opened on March 15, 2020. The application submission deadline is May 15, 2020.

All scholarship applicant must meet the following criteria:
Be a Texas resident
High school senior or an undergraduate student.
Plans to be a full-time student for the upcoming school year (2020-2021) in an undergraduate degree program by an accredited college or university or enrolled in a vocational or technical school.
A child or grandchild of an employee of current member of the Texas Propane Gas Association (TPGA) with dues paid for 2020 TPGA membership year. The parent’s, legal guardian’s or grandparent’s work must be directly related to the propane industry.
GPA (need to be in upper half of class for consideration)
How to Apply for Scholarship?
If you have fully completed a National Propane Gas Foundation (NPGF) Scholarship Application for 2020-2021 school year and you meet The Texas Propane Gas Association (TPGA) eligibility requirements, you will automatically be entered into the TPGA scholarship. You do not have to complete another application.
Getting started. You will need your parent(s)' or legal guardian(s)' salaries and household income as well as a parent or legal guardian to digitally sign the application. Ensure this is available before you begin the application process.
If you are high school senior or gap year student, please have copies of SAT or ACT available for submission.
