The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) has partnered with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) to provide propane industry professionals with free access to NFPA LiNK® at no additional cost through The Learning Center.
NFPA LiNK® is a subscription-based platform that provides access to the complete library of NFPA codes and standards, including NFPA 54 and NFPA 58, along with related reference and supporting materials. Through this partnership, anyone with a Learning Center account can access these resources on demand.
This single sign-on access allows users to move seamlessly from training to code reference, whether in the office or in the field, on desktop or mobile devices. NFPA LiNK® also provides quick, searchable access to both current and older editions of NFPA codes—making it especially useful when questions arise in real time in the field.
That said, physical copies of applicable NFPA codes are still recommended at each outlet to satisfy the Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC) requirements for a copy at each location. If internet access is unavailable at a propane licensee outlet and the licensee cannot produce the required code, the Railroad Commission of Texas may cite the outlet for a violation. Phone-only access does not currently meet the Railroad Commission of Texas rule requirements for proper code access.
To get started, log in to The PERC Learning Center and select the “NFPA LiNK” button. Do not have a login? It's free to register and use. Access at https://training.propane.com/
