FMCSA Emergency Declaration for Texas is EXTENDED to March 8, 2022

Dear TPGA Members, NPGA and TPGA have been working diligently to assist our members with Hours of Service relief as they struggle with unprecedented pandemic-related employee outages and now winter weather. FMCSA issued an Emergency Declaration for motor carriers with operations impacted by a reduction in commercial vehicle drivers because of COVID-19 infections and the arctic plunge. The Emergency Declaration waives the hours-of-service requirements for commercial vehicle operations delivering propane and other heating fuels to homes, businesses, and bulk plants in response to winter storms and high demand from consumers.

The waiver extension is in effect through March 8, 2022.
