Additional Texas Drug & Alcohol Reporting Requirements

Although the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has established the National Clearinghouse, in the State of Texas, employers who employ CDL drivers are still required to report to the Motor Carrier Bureau of the Texas Department of Public Safety any reports of valid positive result on alcohol and drug tests done through the company's alcohol and drug testing program. The report must be sent within 10 days of notice of the positive result on the specific forms.
