FREE Initial & Refresher Hazmat Training Is Available Online

Hazmat training is required within the first 90 days of employment and every 3 years subsequently for hazmat employees. The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) has developed interactive online hazmat training. The initial online course for new hazmat employees consists of 11 modules (4-5 hours) and the refresher course is 9 modules (3.5 hours). The training does not have to be completed in one sitting and is self-paced. How to take the course 1. Your hazmat employee just needs to go to https://training.propane.com/ to take the course. 2. Login or register. 3. Click on Safety & Technical Training 4. Click on OSHA & DOT folder 5. Click on the applicable hazmat training course, either

· Initial OSHA & Hazmat (for new employees) or · DOT Employee Hazmat Refresher (for previously trained staff) Once completed, the course will appear on their permanent downloadable transcript on PERC's online learning center and there will also be a downloadable printable certificate.
