FMCSA Emergency Declaration Hurricane Ida

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) issued an Emergency Declaration covering several states in the Gulf Coast in anticipation of the significant impacts of Hurricane Ida. The Emergency Declaration waives hours of service requirements for those providing direct assistance to emergency relief efforts in the affected states, including the transportation of “supplies, goods, equipment, fuel, and persons.” The Emergency Declaration applies to: · Alabama · Arkansas · Louisiana · Mississippi · Tennessee · Texas
