The Texas Propane Gas Association monitors thousands of bills a session to in order to keep our members informed and provide a voice for our members in from of the Texas Legislature. The Texas Legislative Session takes place every other year.
Important Dates
January 14, 2025
is the first day of the legislative session.
March 14, 2025
is the 60th day and the deadline to file most bills.
June 2, 2025
is sine die, or the last day of the legislative session.

June 22, 2025
is the last day the governor can sign or veto bills.
​
September 1, 2025
is the earliest day most bills can go into effect, if they didn’t pass with more.
