The Propane Council of Texas (ProCOT) formerly known as the Texas Propane Educational & Marketing Foundation (TPEMF) is non-profit 501 (c) 3 dedicated to educating the propane industry and consumers on clean, reliable and efficient propane.

The educational programs directed to propane consumers cover the safety, environmental soundness and cost-efficiency of the use of propane gas.  The educational programs directed to propane marketers cover all aspects of operating a safe and efficient propane business.  To fund its programs, the Foundation receives funds rebated to it from the Propane Education and Research Council (PERC) and any such other funds as might, from time to time, be granted or donated to it.

The Propane Council of Texas has open board positions in Texas Regions B & D. Region B covers Districts 5-8 while Region D covers Districts 13-16. If your business location is in one of the above districts, you are TX PERC assessment payer, and you are interested in serving on the Propane Council of Texas (ProCOT), please click here to download an application for the open position.The term is four years and the ProCOT Board meets four times a year usually in conjunction with industry events.
