Propane vehicles are one of the cleanest medium duty vehicles.  They are EPA certified and produce significantly less carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide, hydrocarbon and greenhouse gas emissions than gasoline or diesel engines. Additionally, propane vehicles produce less CO2 than fuel oil and ethanol. Natural gas may have fewer CO2  emissions; however natural gas produces a global warming effect 25 times than that of carbon dioxide.
